Concrete leveling is used to fix sunken or uneven concrete surfaces like driveways, sidewalks, and patios. Two common methods are mud jacking and poly leveling, and while both lift and level concrete, they use different materials and technologies.
Mud Jacking (also called slab jacking) involves pumping a heavy mixture of cement, sand, and water under the slab to lift it. It’s cost-effective but may require larger holes and longer cure times.
Poly Leveling (or polyurethane foam injection) uses a lightweight, expanding foam injected under the slab. It sets quickly, requires smaller drill holes, and is more water-resistant, making it ideal for long-term foundation repair.
Key Benefits:
Mudjacking: Budget-friendly, best for large or lightly loaded slabs.
Poly Leveling: Fast-curing, durable, minimal disruption, and great for precise leveling.
